Job Summary: Bar Manager

The position of Bar Manager is responsible for the management and coordination of all bartenders and activities pertaining to bar service at the club.

Reports to:  Clubhouse Manager

Responsibilities:        

  • Responsible for the hiring, training and scheduling of all bartenders to the business needs of the clubs events.
  • Deliver first class customer service exceeding Ridge Club standards and expectations. 
  • Assist in setting first class standards for bar service at the club and ensure that all bartenders exceed these expectations.
  • Assist the Clubhouse Manager in the opening, and closing of the Clubhouse pertaining to the wines and liquors.
  • Maintains liquor inventory ~ procurement and control.
  • Responsible for beverage sales, and services while maintaining Company, State and Town Standards.
  • Follow and obey all State and Town Liquor Laws, Ordinances, etc.
  • Always maintain an optimum cleanliness of the workspace.
  • Ensure that bartenders keep work stations clean, organized, properly stocked and secured at the end of each shift.
  • Establish good lines of communication and cooperation with all members of the wait staff, kitchen staff, fellow bartenders and supervisors.  Reconcile all cash receipts, at the completion of each shift.  Perform duties and responsibilities as assigned by Clubhouse and Restaurant Managers.

SEASON:  This is a Full Time Seasonal Position (42 weeks)

Beginning from 3/12, ending on 12/31

The Bar Manager can expect to average 40-55 hours per week
